Thomas had his first birthday a few weeks ago! We had a nice dinner and of course cake and ice cream. Thanks to everyone that spent the special day with us! Thomas could tell that the day was about him and although he wasn't sure why, he spent the night entertaining and showing off. He clapped, danced, waved, and had a group of 12 or more adults clapping, dancing and waving with him!
I can hardly believe how fast this past year has gone and how much our lives have changed. We have learned a lot about ourselves, parenting, and what really matters in life. We have smiled at Thomas and his "squinchy" faces. We have worried a lot. We have lost sleep. We have cuddled and chased his chubby little play dough feet. We have danced and sang. We have played. We have prayed sincerely. We have laughed really hard at his games. We have been amazed that we are raising him and that he is learning and growing. We have felt a love that we didn't know that we could feel and have loved being his parents and Thank our Heavenly Father for this opportunity!

Sade- Everything you said was perfect and so so true, we will be in Rexburg for probably a month or two so we will definitely have to get together!
