Literally. For the month of March it felt as if we were missing. I can't believe that it is already over and that so much happened during that time.
Daniel went on an international trip with his classmates from the MBA program to the wonderful, life changing INDIA. He was gone for a total of 12 days. He really learned a lot and said it literally has changed his life. He has way more details....maybe I will get him to guest blog and write it all down.
While he was away he was missed terribly. We could hardly stand being here without him and went on a few adventures of our own. One weekend in Provo and the next in Rexburg. I know, not quite as cool as India. But, still fun for us non the less.
Then this last weekend we headed up to Rexburg again for the wonderful wedding of Nick and Alisa Reynolds. She looked absolutely lovely and Nick rocked some great boots. So great that they made multiple non-cowboy type jealous. They were married in the Idaho Falls temple and the ceremony was perfect. Then we spent the night dancing away to some classic Gershwin and Sinatra. Even if it was with one child between us and the other one running in between our legs.
Not to mention that we leave again tomorrow for another wonderful wedding for James and Laren Packer. Just another little trip to the wondeful Rexburg. We are excited for Easter and for seeing all of our family members.
On top of all the travel we have all had multiple colds. Yuck. I am afraid that after going all winter long without anything, it all caught up with us and we have been down and out between all of our adventures. Just think, sore throats, ear aches and tissues. That about wraps it up.
Lewis decided that he was going to grow up on us and decided that he is much to old for a crib. We couldn't keep him in and decided to move him into a toddler bed and Thomas into a big boy twin bed. The transition is going... but not quite as well as we would like. Lets just say there is a bribe out there to Thomas that if he can stay in his bed ALL night long and not come into my bed once for 5 nights he can get his very own coveted transformer. It has been a total of 8 nights and he has only done it once. Yeah for progress. As for Lewis he is actually doing better and he doesn't even have a toy on the line!
As for jobs, we are still in the process and still super excited at this point for what lies ahead. When we have any more information I promise I will let you know.
As for pictures, my computer is in the process of breaking down and so they are all sitting on an external hard drive in the closet. We are slightly picture-less for the time being.
We are totally enjoying the warm weather and just today we ate watermelon outside as we played and basked in the sunlight. It lifted my spirits and made me so excited for the summer months ahead. Especially for all of the adventures that we have to look forward to.
