Well I am feeling pretty lucky in love this month.
Especially because I got to spend valentines day with my "men"
I totally enjoyed focusing on the small things throughout the day that would show others that they are loved. It was a good mindset to have. Something I would like to have more often.
We had heart shaped eggs in toast. With pink milk. Woke up to secret messages on the mirror. "Washed" off secret messages with toothpaste moments later. Made cookies. Ate cookies. Painted valentines. Had two parties with friends. Ate a lot of suckers. Sent love to family members who live too far to hug and kiss on a daily basis. Had a secret midday delivery of daisies. A favorite. Ordered gross chinese takeout. Drank some sparkling cider. Watched parts of a lame movie. Went to bed early. And I still feel lucky in love!

THE PROCESS
We have officially started the job interviewing process.
Daniel will be graduating soon. It kind of seems surreal. We have only known school in our married lives. Graduating has been one of our "major" goals to accomplish in this life time. We are accomplishing things. I am really proud of Daniel's accomplishments. He has learned so much and I am really proud to say that I have so much faith in him. In his ability. His career. His talent. He is capable, smart, and driven.
What an exciting time. So many possibilities.
What a grueling emotional process. From preparing for the interview, actually interviewing, to leaving the interview and analyzing every answer given, then having to wait... Ups and downs.
(and I am not even the one interviewing. just hoping to be the worlds best cheerleader)
We have a lot to think about. This is a time of major decisions. Not only about Daniel's professional career, but for our family. There is a lot of thinking, praying, listening, dreaming and hard work to be done but we are looking forward to our future optimistically. Mostly because we will all be together and continuing to accomplish many great things! (that totally sounded cheesy...but it's true)
The boys and I love when we get to tag along for the ride.
I love being able to talk to Daniel in the car ride and be on the same page about our future.
The boys and I usually get to hang out and relax while Daniel does all of the hard work.
We love thinking about our possibilities as a small family. There are so many.
Here the boys are enjoying their time being out of the car on one of our recent adventures.

Two Brothers
Daniel sings a song to the boys.
It is called two brothers.
It is pretty great. Super original. Totally gets stuck in all of our heads.
He sings it to them at moments such as these....Love how their relationship has progressed over the last 18 months. From meeting each other for the first time, to enduring moms silly halloween costumes, wearing matching pajamas, coloring, being super heros, teaching each other/ learning together, to eating peanut butter sandwiches and drinking hot cocoa for lunch underneath the table. They are totally starting to laugh and giggle with each other all day long. I even love it at night when they can't go to bed and they just giggle. A magical sound. (until it has gone on for hours and it is way past everyone's bedtime) It is a special bond these TWO BROTHERS (ohhhh) have. One that I hope they can always respect and cherish.

Dear Thomas.
You rock our world.
You are hilarious and so smart. The things that you say are so logical and well above a three year olds age level. Your spirit is already so mature.
You are goofy all at the same time. Just like dad. Maybe a little nerdy. Just like mom.
You are kind.
You are a little shy. Yet so confident at the same time. A perfect combination.
You still take a nap each day. Which I am totally grateful for.
You love being a superhero and usually have some sort of mask on your sweet face or a sword in your hand.
You are so athletic and can run, throw and kick like a mad man.
You are so determined. If you have your mind on something it is impossible to to change it.
You push boundaries to learn how far is too far. Once you figure it out you are so well behaved.
You are a fun friend to have around.
You like to help me in the kitchen. To do laundry. Unload the dishwasher. Vacuum. Wipe down anything.
You love the I-touch.
You ask great questions. Constantly thinking about things.
You love Kipper, Arthur, Caillou, Power Rangers and Spiderman tv shows on Netflix.
You have a recent obsession with coloring. You are so talented.
Your mind goes 100 miles a minute. You want to do everything and be everything.
You love people and hate being alone. We are working on finding a quiet place to rejuvenate.
You love playing board games. We are working on the patience to finish them.
You are too busy to eat your meals. And often go to bed hungry. Will you figure it out?
You are handsome.
You love the foo fighters. They are a guys band.
You love the scriptures and ask me often about Abinadi.
You get to go the dentist this week for the first time. You are beyond excited.
You regularly sit by me, give me a hug and a kiss, (overly puckered mini lips) and say to me, "Mom, tell me about your day."
You make our lives better.
You bring perspective to our lives.
You keep us on our toes and teach us daily. Sometimes more then we bargained for!
I love you more everyday.

Dear Lew.
You are growing up to be quite the boy.
We laugh all day long with you. Seriously, you know that you are hilarious.
We love everything about you.
Even your "SCREAM". (although the upstairs neighbors probably don't)
You have the best dance moves. Spinning in circles with hands a waving.
I love when you run with your left arm swinging wildly.
You tackle your brother and wrestle with him.
You give us lots of love. My little hunk of love.
You love baths. Like run to the bathroom when you hear water running or the door open.
You are into dressing yourself. As in you love anything silky. Your basketball sweat suit and your swimming shirt are among your favorites.
You sit perfectly still and don't make a peep when we play hide and seek.
You take one nap a day.
You like to roll around the floor. You are also working on summersaults.

You love to drink. And eat. Mostly drink. Milk and bananas are favorites.
You roar like a lion. Grunt and point for most communication. Say basketball. (for any ball) Mommy. Daddy. Uh-Uh. HI. Yeah.
You are teething and constantly have you hands in your mouth. Pour guys. You so far have a total of six. Two on the top. Four on the bottom.

You are totally into sports. Anything ball. You will sit and wear a baseball helmet, usually backwards, all day long. You almost always have a ball with you.
If I say lets get ready, you run to the door and get your shoes until it is really time to leave.
You are so sensitive. In such a good way. It makes your aware of others feelings as well.
You love to talk on the phone and skype. You talk/grunt non-stop.
You are totally sleeping through the night. AMAZING. although you have occasional night tares.
You are 18 months this week.
You have blessed our lives more then we can have imagined.
You bring joy into our lives.
You will always be my hunk of love.
I love you more everyday.
