I woke up to these little monkeys eating popsicles for breakfast.
Definitely the best way to start your morning... especially with these cold temps said NOBODY EVER!
They were tucked in a corner (probably trying to hide) giggling like best brothers should.
I love their sleepy eyes, messy bed heads and matching wonder boy shirts. A special gift from Grandpa and Grandma Packer at Christmas.
My father-in-law; while in high school, college, and his mission, signed letters to my mother-in-law as "WONDER BOY"
They sent each grandson (all 15) a wonder boy shirt to tell them how truly wonderful they all are and to remind them to carry on the tradition of truly being a wonder boy.
They may not recognize how important this message is now.....
Right now they just know that Grandpa tells really funny goodnight stories. They just know that he loves them. They just love visiting his house and finding special treats just for them and receiving an occasional note in the mail from him.
I hope that through these memories and experiences they can learn that Grandpa Packer is truly a great example of being wonderful. He sets such a great example of what it is to be a father, a husband and a man of God. That is what makes him Wonderful.... and if they too can follow in his footsteps then it is these things that will make them WONDERFUL.
The Other best part about all of this is that they don't have just one GREAT EXAMPLE but MANY amazing men in their lives that can teach them how to be WONDERFUL.
