We hit up the famous Rexburg 4th of July parade.
We saw family and a few friends. We saw floats and tractors too!
We had such a busy day with family and it was so good to see everyone.
After the parade we headed to Mike and Shannon's for lunch. Swimming and chatting in the shade.
Then back to the Packer's for naps and a BBQ. Man we were spoiled with such good food all day long! The boys found their cousins and made instant connections. They played and even got into a little mischief. Just what cousins are for right?!
After the BBQ we headed back to Mike and Shannon's for a fabulous firework show. One that was literally breathtaking... or should I say one that takes your breath away? We had a small incident and feel so so lucky that we all made it out with very little injury. A firework tipped over and shot right at us. We had to take off running and tried to hide behind trees for cover. The only damage was a hole the size of a ping pong ball through a jacket that I was holding. Lucky.
The boys ate up all of the cousin time they had for the next few days. They LOVED having so many built in friends. They played at the park. Jumped on the tramp with sprinklers. Played school. Watched shows. Did temporary tattoos. Laughed. Went to the Sand dunes. Got sand in their mouths. Splashed at the splash park. Had sno shacks. Ate at their favorite Pizza Pie Cafe. Had smores with Grandpa Packer. Mowed the lawn, just like old times. Visited Great Grandma Lola. Hiked down to the cabin. Ate lunch at the Radio Tower. Slipped down the slip and slide. Of course ate FONGS. They wore themselves out every day. So did mom and dad chasing after them.
p.s the last picture of the two boys is probably my favorite. Possibly ever. I can't help but smile when I look at it. They love each other. They dress SO cool. They are all mine!
