You sure know how to make a simple girl feel appreciated!
And as promised (Daniel) pictures from our spring break get away. Also as promised nothing professional... only sentimental!
After driving through a snowstorm all day monday we finally made it to St. George with clear blue skies.
Couldn't believe how fast the weather changed.
The next morning we went for a walk around a golf course.
(D and T looking at the ducks)
(Me and the boys... hello sunshine we apparently haven't seen you in awhile)
(are the golf courses always this brown? I thought the grass would be the most green at this time of year?)
We played on a playground and spent quality time swinging.
The boys love under doggies.
Then during nap time we opted to drive around and enjoy the local scenery while eating ice cream cones. We found the amphitheatre. The Tuacahn. Unfortunately nothing was showing while we were there. Maybe we will have to make a special trip back there this summer.
Did I mention we drove a mini hearse?
Yes we called our rental car the Adams Family. It at least got good gas mileage.
Thomas may or ay not have learned to unlock the door and opened it on the highway.
Then we spent the afternoon swimming all by ourselves at the local rec center. These pictures are actually at the hotel pool...but swimming non the less. D has a great story about his swimsuit and Lew "learned" how to swim with the help of his parents. Thomas also enjoyed picking up on the ladies, just like his friend Ham on the movie the Sandlot.
(Lew and his body of love. I loved him clinging to me in the pool.)
More tomorrow...our day trip to Zions National Park. Loved all of the red rocks.
