*THe signs of a true fit.... I accidentally posted these pictures in the wrong order (and am to lazy to fix it) so just picture them the other way around! We love the little stink especially with his attitude and silly faces and can't wait until words come with his fits!

Easily Entertained

So a few weekends ago we were able to go down to Utah and finally use Daniel's Christmas present. We had so much fun getting away for the weekend and just hanging out as a little family.
Thursday :
- we drove down and Thomas was so good the whole time
-stopped to visit Becky and Wes and have lunch THANKS GUYS that was so nice of you
- we went swimming
- we went to the JAZZ CELTICS game while Grandma P and Liz watched Thomas at the HOTEL.... THANKS YOU SAVED US
FRIDAY:
- we went to the gateway mall and to my favorite store in the world... Anthropologie.... I LOVE IT. This time Daniel might of even enjoyed it. He found a giant magnifying lens and had to take pictures of our enlarged facial parts. (as you can see above...)
- we went to the planetarium
- we went to a fun kids play place and totally had more fun then THomas
- we ate so much at crown burger that we were sick
- we went to ensign peak and looked over the valley
- we went swimming again
- we watched movies and hung out eating Panda so Thomas could get some good sleep
Saturday:
-we went to Provo
- went for a walk all over the BYU campus ( it was so warm there we could hardly believe it)
- helped watch David and Liz's kids
- THomas got horribly sick and didn't sleep hardly at all that night...
Sunday:
- we came home as soon as we could because Thomas didn't feel well.
Overall the trip was so much fun we did a lot of random things but totally enjoyed ourselves. It was a much needed break for Daniel and I just like to have fun!

Swimming

WHen we went down to Utah for the Jazz Celtics game we stayed in a hotel and went swimming TONS. Thomas loved it (even though the water was a bit chilly) he would scream and scream because he could hear his echo. He liked jumping off the sides of the pool back into it and his favorite part was dipping his toes in the hot tub, he even fell asleep one time in my arms (which is rare) because it relaxed him so much. I just had to post this cute pic of my two babes.... swimming in the pool...LOVE IT!

GO CELTICS GO

Last weekend Daniel was finally able to use his Christmas present and go to the Jazz vs. Celtics game. This was a picture of him and how high up we were (it didn't bother me I spent most of the time observing and people watching). I haven't ever been to a professional game before and besides the fact that we were clear at the top surrounded by tons of angry drunk fans, Kevin Garnett got hurt and couldn't play most of the game, and the celtics ended up loosing it was really fun. Hope it was all worth it and you had the time of your life!!!

whos named Sadie Packer

My sister in law tagged me... She thought it would be funny to google your name and see what other people with your name look like... here it goes

THERE IS NO ONE ELSE WITH MY NAME.... besides my facebook picture there were a whole bunch of DOG pictures that came up! It has been a joke for a long time that a lot of dogs are named Sadie and actually I had a lady tell me that she named her horse after me!

LIFE IS GOOD

I have been slightly behind on my blogging and there are a few things that I would like tell about.
1. CHRISTMAS was absolutely magical
- we got snowed in and our car got stuck twice
- we were spoiled with great presents
- we saw a lot of christ like giving which made it a christmas to remember
- we ate a lot of really good food
- spent a lot of time with both families
- we laughed and laughed
- we read christmas stories
- we went on a sleigh ride and sang christmas carols on Christmas Eve
- thomas was sick
- we went swimming
- we partied until I didn't think that we could party anymore.... seriously I found that you can have too much fun...
2. NEW YEARS we went to Mike and Shannon's and we talked, ate, swam, played games... and had to leave early to bring in the new year so Thomas could go to sleep.
3. Daniel started school again. It is his second to the last semester!!!! awoohoo!
- he will start competitive ball this weekend and is EXCITED to play and get in shape
4. Thomas has changed and grown up SO SO much
- he is crawling EVERYWHERE and into everything
- he scrunches his nose when he smiles and giggles at you
- he can drink out of a straw
- he can eat a whole yogurt (but doesn't really like anything else)
-he started laying down in the tub and kicking and splashing like a wild man... if you are in the bathroom you get soaked
- he is 8 months and growing like a weed and I can't get enough of him
Our lives are really simple and FUN these days. We just hang out and enjoy our lives the way that they are!

Nap Time

I had just laid THomas down for his morning nap (he had fallen asleep in my arms and so I KNOW that he was already asleep). I came out into the living room to pick up his toys and not even two minutes later I heard giggling and clinking sounds coming from his room. When I went to check on him this is what I found.... THomas was playing hoops and was so excited. My only question is how could he have been so grumpy only minutes before and now have been completely awake and rejuvenated? It must of been the two minute power nap! Thomas just makes us laugh all of the time. I have a feeling that this is only the beginning of our funny adventures with our sweet active little man!
We took Thomas to the Doctor on Monday for his 6 month (even though he is now 7 months) appointment and he is...
16.12 lbs which is about the 50 %
28 inches long which is about the 90 %
We live in an apartment complex that has quite a few Korean families. Most of them are young families with one or two children and the fathers are attending school at BYU-I. A lot of them go to the ward that Daniel and I are in and we are getting to know them slowly. It is really hard for me to remember their names because they all sound the same and are so unfamiliar to me, but we live next door to Jong and He Sook and have been able to talk to them a little bit (even though I don't know if we really understand each other most of the time). This last Saturday we went to our ward Christmas breakfast and Jong waved to us to come and sit at the table with his little family. We set our coats down and while we went to get our food the table filled up with the rest of the Koreans (they tend to gather together) and we were able to sit and eat with them. They spoke in Korean most of the time to each other and we of course didn't understand, but occasionally they would ask how old Thomas was and then say things like, "Oh BIG, BIG like his dad. Americans BIG" and "He tall only 6 months, he tall like his dad". We just laughed and said "yes" because I am sure that Daniel being 6'3" is huge to them and Thomas probably will be tall. His hands and feet are already so big so we will just have to see, we just know that we LOVE him just the way that he is and we are glad that he is healthy and strong!

-Now I know that I shouldn't of laid him down with his hoop in his crib...I just had forgotten to take it off after our game early in the morning. And I can't get a picture to download (our internet isn't the best quality) so you will just have to picture his cute smiling face looking up at me while he is slobbering and hanging on his hoop!
