Superhero baseball

These boys I tell you are hilarious.
The ideas that they come up with kill me.
All by themselves...
They dressed in matching clothes.
They gathered their sports gear.
They filled water bottles.
They put it all in their matching sea wolves bags.  The ones they got from the game the night before.
They asked me if we could go to the baseball field.

We walked to the baseball field through the forest.
We had to jump off of every rock and fallen tree.
We caught a frog.
We set up our stuff in the dugout.
We looked at all of the sunflower seeds on the ground, we wished we had some.  The carrots mom brought weren't as exciting.
We got our gear on.  By gear I mean superhero catchers masks, ball caps and gloves.
We played catch for a few minutes.
We got really hot and had to take breaks in the dugout.
We walked back home through the forest.
It was quite the afternoon.
Nothing special just a perfect day filled with boy things.
A perfect day they planned all by themselves.
