THE BIG 4

AWOOOHOOO!
We love a good party and Lewis finally turned four and man were we able to celebrate this little one that we all love!

It started off with a morning picture with presents.  He got to open a new beach towel to use that day!
Muffins, strawberries and chocolate milk for breakfast.  They didn't have our favorite donuts at the store... bummer.  The muffins were a good replacement.  No complaining here.
Then we headed off the to the beach with friends.  I caught the boys with arms wrapped around each others shoulders on the way to the beach.  They love each other.  I love them.
We played and played and played for the next 4 hours in the sun and sand.
We swam in the water.
We ate cookies.  Lots of cookies.  Oreos are a favorite of Lew's right now.  He may have eaten a whole row by himself.  And then some!
We buried each other.  We made a sand turtle.
We played with friends and had a perfect time.
We played at the park across the street and worked on our flips, hanging and climbing.  Definitely things that four year olds do!
We got burgers, hotdogs and fries at Sara's.  Not to mention a soda per the birthday boy's request.  Sprite to be exact!
We picked up daddy from the airport after a week long trip to Cleveland and headed to the one and only WALDAMEER!
We have been looking forward to this for awhile.
Daddy and the boys went on all sorts of wooden roller coasters and fun rides.
We rode the log ride as a family and got drenched.  Good memories!
T rode the 6th fastest wooden roller coaster... ever.  BRAVE BOY.  It might have been a little much but he has enjoyed bragging about it!
L was bummed to not be tall enough once again to do some rides but love loved the ones he got to do.
He definitely has an adventurous side and his face lights up as the ride starts.  He has a little squeal of excitement that melts your heart!  PURE JOY I tell you!
We were exhausted after an amazing day.
We headed home for presents.
NINJA TURTLE HEAVEN!  Green Eggs and Ham.  Cuddle.
Grilled cheese for dinner and mint ice cream cake for dessert.  Another favorite.  It was SO good.
Dear Lew.  I love you.  I am happy you are four.  I am happy you are a part of my life.  Thanks for always giving me hugs and kisses.  Thanks for letting us celebrate you and your life in such a fun fun way!
